How Meditating on God’s Word Will Cast Out All Fear

As young women of God, we tend to fear in many aspects of our lives and this can limit our full dedicated trust in the Lord. The enemy uses fear to decrease our hope and this can limit our blessings. John 10:10 clearly states that the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy, Jesus has come that you may have life and have it abundantly . In your busy day to day life, there will be moments whereby you can feel lost or even left behind in life. However, know that you are exactly where the Lord wants you to be!

The path may not always be as smooth as you want it be, but the Lord is always on your side.  No matter who promised to be by your side and failed to do so, you can know for certain that God will never leave you nor forsake you. Romans 8:28 states we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. See how powerful that word of scripture is? It simply says to love God! In everything you do, you need to fully put your trust in Him in order to overcome any fear. Don’t you believe that Jesus loves you regardless of your past or present circumstances? His Love for you is more than enough!

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NKJV)

Meditating on Scripture
1 John 18 states that there is no Fear in Love; but perfect Love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in Love (NKJV). This Scripture can have so many different meanings in our lives. We need to get in the habit of meditating on God’s word on a daily basis. Doing so will give us hope and assurance that His Love for us never fails. There are certain situations in which we feel afraid and discouraged. It could be a relationship you thought would lead to your future, failing your exams in school, or maybe you feel totally lost in circumstances that go beyond your control. I know it’s easier said than done, but situations like these should never put you down in the Lord.

By meditating on the aforementioned Scriptures, we should remember that God’s perfect love casts all fear out. Remember when you were child and scared of certain things, and you would depend on your parents or siblings to protect you from getting hurt? This is the same way in which God wants us to fully trust and rely on Him!

Beautiful Purpose Wife, know that whatever He said concerning your life will definitely come to pass. Never leave the house in the morning without reminding yourself of how blessed and highly favoured you are to be in the Love of God. You are worthy. You are more than enough.

God bless,
