Using Positivity to Speak Your Blessings into Existence

Can I ask you something? When was the last time you spoke positively of yourself? When was the last time you said to yourself “Hey girl, you are doing a great job! You will definitely make it in life!” Sometimes we speak negatively about ourselves and neglect our positive sides. What if somebody would actually speak negative words to or about you? I know for a fact that you would be hurt! Then why do we destroy ourselves with our own negative words then? Why do we let those words get to us without fighting back?

You are a work in progress
Most times we even start believing those negative words! Do you know that you are the only person that can break you or make you? If you say “I can’t”, guess what? You’re right. If you say it’s impossible, it will be impossible for YOU. At times we can be so focused on where we want to go, that we overlook where we are. I know we all want the best, but be content with where you are right now, and love yourself. I’m not saying don’t make progress in life; you should, my dear. But don’t be too hard on yourself. You should realise that you are a human-being, not a human-been… You get it, right? You are still a work in progress. You will never be happy in life if you are not happy with where you are now, because you are always longing for more.

Your LEVEL UP is about improving, not impressing. It’s always you versus you, not you versus them.

What I came to realise is that consistency, a positive mindset, and patience are the keys to success. You know, big things always have small beginnings. The people behind successes all started somewhere, but never gave up. They knew that success isn’t something that happens overnight, but it comes with a positive mindset, consistency, and patience. They knew that the process would be hard and slow, but they also knew that quitting wouldn’t speed it up. They knew that nothing could stop them apart from themselves. They knew that the positive mindset bears its fruits in the future and the negative mindset will also bear its fruits in the future. So they decided to feed themselves with positive thoughts.

Godly affrimations
Always believe in yourself and trust in God. Speak positively about yourself and be content with what you are doing right now. Stand before the mirror every day and say; I am God’s masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10). I am the head and not the tail (Deuteronomy 28:13). I am prosperous (3 John 1:2). I will finish everything that I started successfully (Philippians 1:6). Greater is HE that is in me than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). God has an amazing plan for me, beyond my imagination (Isaiah 55:9). Victory is mine (Romans 8:37). I am God’s own (Isaiah 43:1). The Lord is my security, He will keep me in the right path (Proverbs 3:26). I have a rich and satisfying life (John 10:10). Everything is working for my good (Romans 8:28). I am qualified for everything I will do (Jeremiah 1:6-8).

Always speak positively in every situation you find yourself in. Never give up, for you have sacrificed a lot for you not to enjoy the fruit of your dream. I know it’s easier said than done, but try it consistently and see your mind responding and motivating you to do more! “Work hard and became a leader; be lazy and become a slave.” (Proverbs 12:24, NLT). One last thing.. Girl.. I’m excited about your future!

  1. This is wonderful! You’re so right. With positivity, patience and consistency we can achieve anything. It’s important also to stay focused on our own journey and not compare ourselves to others. “But let each one examine his own actions, and then he will have cause for rejoicing in regard to himself alone, and not in comparison with the other person. For each one will carry his own load.” (Galatians 6:4,5)
